2022 is going to be an exciting year for KPBS. With the return to in person events and the completion of our newly reimagined workspace, there will be a lot to celebrate.  We can’t wait to share it with you.

I’m excited to report that we are nearing the completion of Phase One of our renovations. What is emerging is more than a beautiful and modern facility. It is a space that allows us to collaborate with different departments, to create innovative programming, and use new technology. I am most excited about the new event space that will welcome our community and supporters.

Phase Two will begin soon, which includes the reconstruction and expansion of all of our radio studios on the first floor and outfitting our new podcast space.

As we enter the final phases of this historic project and begin to share with the public this transformational opportunity, we are creating some new ways to help tell our story.

Below is a new campaign video we created to generate excitement within the community around our campaign. I wanted you to be one of the first to view it. Please let me know what you think and please feel free to share with others who might be interested in learning more.

Video on Youtube title Building on Trust: The Campaign for KPBS

Starting this spring, we will be offering small group tours so you can see firsthand what your support has helped create, the progress we’ve made, and hear some of the exciting things still to come.

Thank you for your support of our campaign and your dedication to KPBS. We will continue to keep you posted on our progress. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.
